Command (Fedora)

sudo vi /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
Change AllowOverrider to “All” for html directory
Change for both and the one outside, then run
sudo apachectl -k restart
sudo service httpd restart
Finally, make changes to htaccess (look at the bottom of permalinks page in WP)
